Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka, who was born in Minsk (the capital of Belarus) was her father's daughter. Her father Sergey (d. 2019.) was an professional ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus the 5th of May 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was named Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. For doubles she's an excellent player. She has won two Majors with Elise Mertens in the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. In 2019, she took home both the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian Partner, who completed what is known as the Sunshine Double. When she played doubles, she managed to push herself to first on February the following year, following the win in Melbourne and becoming the 2nd tennis player born in Belarus to be a part of this area. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach throughout 2018, up until the season finished in 2019 and for a shorter duration at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann had a brief partnership with her from August 2020 to September. She has been trained by her native countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova have been her biggest idols.
